Paint Kindness, Gentleness, Love.™

“Lots of artists can paint an exact likeness of your friend. Few, very few to this degree, can capture the apparitional essence and the exact emotions of that moment, in their paintings.
I am the very humbled owner of now four of Laurie’s paintings. When I think she’s outdone herself, she sends me this 😭. It’s like he’s back home ❤
Thank you Laurie-so special, I can’t even describe it.”       Dona H.

“You will NOT be disappointed in Laurie’s work. She puts her heart and soul into each painting she does. She feels that connection, that bond that you have with your best friend, and that’s why she’s able to capture the moment so beautifully. I absolutely love this painting of Reagan and me, I still miss him every single day, but I feel close to him everytime I look at us in this painting. ”  Brenda R.

“Friends, I can’t accurately describe how well Laurie captures emotions in her work. Should you decide to invest in one of her portraits, you will not be disappointed!” Steph C.

“I cannot tell you how happy I am with my Laurie Pappas paintings. She managed to capture the ‘magic’ that was my Chewie girl! These
paintings have brought me such joy and I have received so many compliments on them. Her paintings are among my most cherished keepsakes and she is so easy to work with. If you are considering Laurie for your painting, I can only say DO IT, you will love it!”

Laurie’s talent truly shines through in the two paintings she created for us. The level of detail in each piece is simply breathtaking when compared to the actual prints of our beloved pups, Diamond and Dexter. Her skillful brushstrokes beautifully capture the essence of both dogs, allowing us to reminisce about the cherished moments we shared with them. Though they may no longer be by our side, Laurie’s artwork brings them back to life, evoking a profound sense of gratitude within us.

“What fascinates me about Laurie’s painting is her inclusion of the young lion who was a guide for Beau in his final moments. (description of this is on Liz’s post on “The Last Gift ” page)

I only wrote about the details of what I saw during his transition without knowing any context or meaning of the presence of the lion and the room “full of white fog”.  My sister later explained to me that her Pastor would call it a ‘glory fog’. and that in the Bible it talks about Jesus as the Lion of Judah.  My sister explained it was the presence of God and we had a visitation. It wasn’t just a dream.
I believe Laurie recognized the significance of including the lion and was compelled to portray him as an important part of Beau’s story.  Indeed.  All dogs go to Heaven.

Thank  you again Laurie.  Your art really does portray the presence of God in all these dogs’ final end days.  Such a gift!”  Liz M.
